Carhartt WIP is part of the WIP Trading AG. Our family-owned business group started as a licensee and European distributor of the US workwear manufacturer Carhartt in the early 1990s. Since then, it develops its own collections based on workwear originals.
Carhartt Work In Progress aims to continuously progress and evolve, without ever losing sight of its origins. For our office in Weil am Rhein we are looking for a dedicated and analytical IT Security Architect (m/f/x) who is passionate about implementing IT Security projects and ensuring the security of our IT infrastructure. You will be an integral part of our IT team and work closely with the IT Security Officer and other stakeholders to continuously improve our security standards.
IT Security Architect (m/f/x)
Your Responsibilities:
Identifying and defining the individual protection needs for the various companies in the group, including business-critical systems, data and processes
Defining mandatory security guidelines and standards for all companies in the group based on best practices and current requirements.
Conducting regular risk analyses and vulnerability assessments to identify new threats at an early stage and develop appropriate countermeasures.
Continuous optimization and further development of our IT security strategy to meet current security standards.
Advising and supporting IT teams in implementing security measures to achieve strategic goals.
Training and sharing expertise and best practices within the IT team.
Regular reporting on the security status and progress of measures to management and stakeholders.
Your Profile:
Completed IT vocational training or studies with a focus on IT security or comparable qualification.
Several years of experience in designing and implementing security architectures in organizations, preferably in international contexts.
Comprehensive knowledge in the areas of cloud security, network security, endpoint security and application security.
Analytical skills and strategic thinking to identify security risks at an early stage and develop effective measures
Goal-oriented and proactive approach to continuously develop IT security strategies
Knowledge of risk management and effective communication skills to convey complex security concepts
Good English and German language skills for effective communication with international colleagues
