Carhartt WIP is part of the WIP Trading AG. Our family-owned business group started as a licensee and European distributor of the US workwear manufacturer Carhartt in the early 1990s. Since then, it develops its own collections based on workwear originals.
Carhartt Work In Progress aims to continuously progress and evolve, without ever losing sight of its origins. Over the course of the past two decades, our business has developed organically, along with its customers, the culture that surrounds the brand, and its employees who have helped shape what Carhartt WIP is today.
We are looking for our German group division with headquarters in Weil am Rhein as soon as possible for you as
Controller (m/f/x)
Your Responsibilities:
Implementation, expansion and further development of controlling are part of your area of responsibility
You will be involved in the preparation of consolidated quarterly and annual financial statements as well as analysing and commenting on business development
You will prepare budget and forecast calculations as well as target/actual variance analyses
You will further develop and expand the reporting system including cost and performance accounting
You ensure compliance with reporting standards and processes
You contribute to project work in the area of controlling and group accounting
Your Profile:
You have a degree in business administration with a focus on controlling/finance or comparable qualifications
You have a strong understanding of business contexts, a high affinity for numbers and a proactive and structured way of working
You have a very good command of German and good written and spoken English
You are very familiar with MS Office, especially Excel
